Brayden Jacobs, the eldest son of former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs, is even bigger than his father. He might also be more athletic.
I cannot believe how well he moves in the water!
Jacobs, a four-star prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2025, ranked as the No. 11 player at his position and a top-55 player overall. As you could imagine for somebody of his size, he plays offensive line. The Georgia-native chose to play for Clemson over 26 offers from schools like Penn State, Texas, Ole Miss, LSU, Ohio State, Colorado, Auburn and Georgia. Nobody was going to turn him away.
Major recruiting sites listed Brayden Jacobs at 6-foot-7, 320 pounds as a senior in high school. Those measurements are already outdated. The true freshman offensive tackle stands 6-foot-8, 350 pounds— at least. His height continues to increase by the day. So does his weight as he packs on more muscle.
Brandon Jacobs played nine years in the NFL, mostly with the New York Giants. He was a bruiser of a running back. You do not want to get in his path because he will run you over. Even today!
The Jacobs family patriarch was listed at 6-foot-4, 264 pounds during his professional football career. He is not a small guy but Brayden makes him look like a child when they are standing next to each other. His youngest son is not too far behind in terms of size.
All of this goes to say that Brandon Jacobs will soon be the smallest man in his family. That is wild.
And not only is Brayden Jacobs big, the true freshman tackle is one of those freak athletes. A majority of people on planet earth cannot successfully swim the butterfly stroke. He make it look effortless at 6-foot-8, 350 pounds+. It is truly majestic to watch him swim the breaststroke as well.
People ask what other sports @BraydenJacobs77 did. Here is him at 6’8 350+ doing breast stroke and butterfly stroke. The boy is a crazy athlete!! pic.twitter.com/roNH2nVHVc

As a proud offensive line enthusiast, this is exactly the kind of thing I want to see from my left tackle. Not only does he have the size, he is obviously an elite athlete with skills that translate to other disciplines. The way Brayden Jacobs glides through the water at his size is a testament to his athleticism. I would likely be able to count the other offensive lineman who can swim like him on one hand. Lets test it?
