The 49ers have stamped their foot down at Leeds United after the latest transfer decision.
This transfer decision being Leeds’ rejection of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Daniel Farke and the owners took this decision due to Calvert-Lewin’s wage demands, which could cause problems for the 49ers’ master plan at Elland Road.
Balance is what is needed in the squad with there clearly being no need for a £120k-a-week star to enter the frame.
This could also spell the end of Leeds‘ interest in these three players this summer due to this fresh stance.

Callum Wilson
With the Whites on the hunt for a striker, Calvert-Lewin won’t be considered, and now Callum Wilson might follow the same destiny.
This is because of Wilson’s £110k-a-week wage at Newcastle United, as Leeds have eyed a move for Wilson.
Leeds wouldn’t welcome this for a striker who also isn’t consistent with fitness, being very injury-prone.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
Even though he’d provide a plethora of experience, this deal just doesn’t seem likely with everything considered and the high wage demand.
Aaron Ramsdale
Leeds are in desperate need of a goalkeeper, and a Premier League-proven one could be the way forward.
Aaron Ramsdale is coming off the back of a relegation with Southampton, but might still have a future in the Premier League with Leeds looking at a potential £25m deal for Ramsdale, which could be considered after the 27-year-old’s performances in a relegation battle.
However, Ramsdale is another who would breach the 49ers’ concerns with Ramsdale occupying a £92,000k-a-week wage.
For a keeper this is excessive, but to make him Leeds’ highest earner ahead of Patrick Bamford’s £70k wage is a big ask.

Ben Davies
Although he’s not a recent target, Ben Davies has been firmly on Leeds’ radar.
It’s been said recently that Davies could still sign for Leeds with it being unclear whether he stays at Tottenham this summer.
Well, even if he does leave, Farke won’t be able to justify Davies’ £100k per week wage which would cause a dent in Leeds’ budget.
Even though he’s the real deal in terms of a versatile option in the back line, this is another one likely to be missed.
