Chelsea boss opens about Kudus as winger agrees personal terms

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has opened up about Mohammed Kudus links. The West Ham United star is also linked to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. On the other hand, one Blues star has agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Jamie Gittens on their official site. They will pay Dortmund £48.5 million plus £3.5 million in add-ons. Before Gittens, they signed Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. But, it is uncertain wheter this will be all in terms of attacking reinforcements.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with Mohammed Kudus. He is 24 year old versatile attacker who plays for West Ham United. He has £85 million release clause but Hammers are open to sell him for around £60 million due to his dip in form. The Blues are joined by Tottenham and Newcastle United in the race.

Enzo Maresca was recently asked about Chelsea’s links with Mohammed Kudus. The Italian refused to speak as the 24 year old is West Ham player. He added that he knows Kudus from his Ajax days. This comments may spark the rumours of Blues moving in on Kudus as one winger has agreed personal terms with Chelsea’s london rivals.

Chelsea agreed personal terms with Arsenal

According to David Ornstein, Noni Madueke has agreed personal terms with Arsenal. Gunners view him as a key player to improve their wide attacking positions. They are likely to approach Chelsea very soon. Gunners have strong relation with Chelsea and now have green light from the player himself.

Arsenal can opt to sign another winger in addition to Madueke. But, their main focus will be a clinical striker. They have Viktor Gyokeres as top target for now. But, Sporting are making it hard due to their high transfer fee demands. Mikel Arteta also has Benjamin Sesko as another target who is also very heavily linked with a move to Premier League.
