Alvin Kamara is a star running back for the New Orleans Saints after previously starring for Tennessee during his time in college. After watching Kamara throw out a first pitch, it’s not hard to see why he never made it as a quarterback.
On Saturday, Kamara was on hand in Chicago to throw out the first pitch inside Wrigley Field. His first try was just a bit outside, to say the least.
In fact, it was so bad that it drew a stunned reaction from the crowd. Not satisfied with that attempt, Kamara motioned for the ball to get a redo, and the Cubs mascot obliged.
The 2nd try was much cleaner, with Kamara and the fans both celebrating the accomplishment. Take a look:

Kamara later reacted to the full incident on social media, being able to laugh the thing off:
On the field, Kamara is looking to continue his impressive run with the New Orleans Saints. Across his first 8 seasons, Kamara has at least 1,100 yards from scrimmage in every season, and he’s coming off a nice rebound campaign with 1,493 yards of offense.
Overall, it is the best season for Kamara since 2020, but the Saints did not have team success with a 5-12 record last season. We’ll see if the team is able to breakthrough this fall.
