PSG are through to the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup after a dramatic win over Bayern Munich. The two sideswere evenly matched in a tense first half that ended scoreless, but there was a frightening moment whenJamal Musiala collided with Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Musiala had tobe stretchered off, though the match continued. After the final whistle, one Bayern Munich player didn’t hold back in criticizing Donnarumma for the incident. Still, before those postgame comments, Bayernwerefully focused on trying to punch their ticket to the semifinals.
The breakthrough came in the second half when Désiré Doué opened the scoring in the 78th minute. Things quickly spiraled, though, as PSGwere reduced to nine men following two red cards. Despite the setback, the French side held their ground—and found a second goal to seal the win.
Ousmane Dembélé scored with his first touch, capitalizing on brilliant play from Achraf Hakimi. The right-back weaved through multiple Bayern defenders before cutting the ball back perfectly for Dembélé to finish.

Based on the images of Musiala’s ankle, he could be out for quite a while.After PSG’s win over Bayern Munich, Manuel Neuer took a shot at Donnarummawith his remarks relayed by Sky Sport Germany’sKerry Hau.
“A situation where you don’t have to go in like that! It’s reckless,” Neuer said. “He accepts the risk of injuring his opponent… I went up to him and said, ‘Don’t you want to go over to our player?’ Out of respect, you should go over and wish the kid all the best. Then he actually did that. (…) Fairness is always important. I would have reacted differently.”

Bayern Munich will take a break before resuming preparations for the 2025-26 season without their talented youngster. Meanwhile, PSG will face Real Madrid in the semifinal of the Club World Cup.
