Larry Fitzgerald was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL during his prime, and the future Hall of Famer now has a son preparing for his own college football journey. On Saturday, it was time for the younger Fitzgerald to reveal his commitment.
That player is Devin Fitzgerald, a 3-star wide receiver out of Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. His final group came down to Clemson, Stanford, UCLA and Notre Dame, but the pull of Marcus Freeman and the Fighting Irish was too much to pass up.
He heads to Notre Dame as the 4th WR to pledge to the program for the 2026 recruiting class:

In an interesting twist, Fitzgerald is the 2nd commitment for Notre Dame in as many days with a father who has NFL roots. On Friday, the Irish landed a commitment from 4-star WR Kaydon Finley, the son of former NFL tight end Jermichael Finley.
As for Fitzgerald, the 247 Sports Composite rates him as the 72nd WR in the country. He joins a recruiting class for Notre Dame that ranks 4th nationally per the team composite with 24 hard commitments so far.
We’ll see how the Fighting Irish finish out the cycle before we reach the end of the road.
