SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Notre Dame’s red-hot recruiting stretch continues, as the Fighting Irish have landed a commitment from wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, son of future NFL Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald.
According to ESPN, Fitzgerald is a three-star prospect from Arizona’s Brophy Prep and is ESPN’s 71st-ranked wide receiver prospect in the 2026 class.
He had a breakout junior season in which he caught 52 passes for 720 yards and nine touchdowns.
Fitzgerald is the 24th member in Notre Dame’s incoming recruiting class, which is ranked in the top five by every service that evaluates recruiting. He’s one of four wide receivers committed to Notre Dame this cycle.
His commitment comes just one day after the Irish landed a commitment from four-star wide receiver Kaydon Finley, the son of former NFL player Jermichael Finley.
Notre Dame’s incoming wide receiver class could grow again on Sunday when Brayden Robinson announces his commitment. Robinson is deciding between the Irish, Arizona and Miami.
