All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as they look to wrap up more business.

Arsenal are now stepping up their summer transfer business with a handful of players expected to arrive over the next couple of weeks. Kepa Arrizabalaga has already been snapped up, and both Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi are expected to be announced in the coming days.

The Gunners still need a striker and a winger, while they are also being tipped to land a centre-back. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Gyokeres latest

Arsenal are said to have received a green light to sign Viktor Gyokeres, who is one of their striker targets this summer. According to A Bola. Sporting CP expected Gyokeres to report for pre-season next week, but they are well aware that he wants to move.

The same report claims Sporting are now ready to accept a deal based on bonuses. They say Sporting will accept a deal worth £60.4million plus £8.6million in add-ons. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will pay that much to get the deal done.

Nwaneri talks

Arsenal are said to be pushing to agree a new deal with Ethan Nwaneri after taking care of a contract extension for Myles Lewis-Skelly just over a week ago. Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Let's also follow in the next days the topic of the new contract for Ethan Nwaneri, because Arsenal are in active talks with the agents of Ethan Nwaneri, the player is really still keen on staying at Arsenal.

“So after Lewis-Skelly, Arsenal always wanted to extend the contract of Ethan Nwaneri, there is a discussion to do on game time. Because, obviously, Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Arsenal are working on several profiles, and so obviously on player camp, they want to understand what's Arsenal’s plan for the boy for the upcoming seasons before putting pen to paper.

“So the conversation remains active and positive, with Ethan Nwaneri keen on staying at Arsenal, but also seeking for some guarantees in terms of game time, in terms of plan before putting pen to paper.”

Arsenal want a winger and Eze

Ben Jacobs believes Arsenal will sign a winger and try to land Eberechi Eze this summer amid links with the Crystal Palace star. He said on talkSPORT: “It’s Eze plus a left winger, and then you have a number nine as well," said Jacobs on the club's transfer plans.

"Add in Norgaard, who has done the first part of his medical, and is expected to complete his move next week. On top of that factor in the €60m or so outlay for Martin Zubimendi and Arsenal are getting going. Mosquera is another one they’re very optimistic on."

Arsenal are hoping to get Mosquera for less than £15million, but Valencia will be holding out in the hope they can push the fee towards the £17million mark, which is around £20million euros. The centre-back is said to have wanted a new contract at Mestalla earlier in the summer, but his head is now said to have been turned by interest from the Gunners.
