West Ham look set to miss out on yet another transfer target.
The Hammers have already been dealt a number of blows in the market, with Graham Potter likely to be fuming with the lack of incomings at this stage.
It is fair to say that the Englishman is only going to grow in frustration as Everton looks set to land a signing ahead of the E20 outfit.
This looks set to strengthen former-Irons boss David Moyes’ side moving into the new season, representing a further dent at the London Stadium.

Everton to beat West Ham to summer signing
As it stands, the Toffees represent a much more attractive prospect than the East Londoners after a positive campaign under the Scottish head coach.

With the Merseyside club moving into a new stadium this summer, there is a hope of beginning a new era with a bang under Moyes.
The chances of success in the upcoming campaign could prove to take a step up in the coming days if they are to land a big-name signing.
This looks set to be the case as the Daily Mirror reported (6 July, page 77) that Everton look set to sign Thierno Barry from Villarreal in a “massive coup signing”.
This has been described as a “knock on blow” for the Hammers as the Yellow Submarine could look to replace the Frenchman with Evann Guessand.
The Hammers have both had an eye on the Ivory Coast international for a figure in the region of £25million, but could now miss out on his signing, thanks to Moyes and the Toffees.

It is certain that the Irons are in desperate need of forward options moving into the new season.
Last time out, there was a general lack of firepower, something that often left Jarrod Bowen looking to drag West Ham through on his own.

Mohammed Kudus 5

There is every chance that Niclas Fullkrug could deliver that, but after such a frustrating first year, there is no guarantee of success.
As a result, it will represent a massive blow to miss out on Guessand, especially with former boss Moyes representing the catalyst to that failed move.
