Wolves fans still don’t know for definite if Nelson Semedo will be playing at Molineux in 2025/26.
The Portugal international recently became a free agent, but still has an offer on the table from Wolves.
Wolves have presented a four-year deal to Semedo, but the player still has not communicated a decision to the club.
Molineux News recently learned that Wolves were not optimistic about Semedo signing, instead believing he is more likely to join a club overseas.
As a result of the uncertainty, Wolves are preparing for life without their captain.
Jeremy Toljan was linked with Wolves recently, with the German right-back now a free agent.
But now Wolves are being linked with another player who has been in Serie A.

Wolves really need an answer from Semedo regarding his future.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
The club want to keep him, but pre-season is creeping closer and this uncertainty means Wolves can’t really swoop for a new player.
But it seems the club are at least looking at other options in the event that he does leave.
And Tuttomercatoweb have claimed that Wolves are one of several clubs interested in Jackson Tchatchoua of Hellas Verona.
Tchatchoua is attracting attention right now, with Marseille and Galatasaray both looking at the Cameroon international.
But from the Premier League, Wolves and Everton are showing interest. Everton, of course, have just seen Ashley Young leave at the end of his contract.
It is noted, though, that the interest from Wolves and Everton is minimal compared to the other clubs mentioned.

Jackson Tchatchoua style of play
Tchatchoua is a player with good mobility, according to Total Football Analysis.
He is described by them as a player who could be ‘a very valuable asset for a transitional side because he is always thinking about finding space to receive the ball and then subsequently carry it forward over a distance’.
He is also branded ‘swift and decisive’.
But it was suggested that Tchatchoua is not ideal for crossing as he is not a ‘chalk-on-the-boots’ kind of player.
His attacking numbers are nothing too outrageous, having scored two goals and made five assists in 64 matches.
But at the age of 23, Tchatchoua still has plenty of room to develop, so it will be interesting to see if Wolves step up their interest.
But before that happens, Wolves really need to know as soon as possible what Semedo is doing.
