It has been four years since the time Milwaukee Bucks won their first title in 50 years and Bobby Portis is joining fans reliving it, especially now that there are only three players left from that team.

The Bucks made major movements this offseason and it entailed offloading players who helped them beat the Phoenix Suns in 2021 in six games.
There were four players who were part of that team last season – Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis, Brook Lopez, and Pat Connaughton. However, the way their season ended forced them to make huge decisions.
First to be let go is Lopez who was not re-signed as a free agent and has now moved west to join the Los Angeles Clippers. Next to fall was Pat Connaughton who was traded to the Charlotte Hornets.

Both Lopez and Connaughton played huge in the 2021 playoffs. The former with his stifling defense and the latter with his timely three point shots, especially in Game 6 of the NBA finals.
Bobby Portis reminisces on 2021 title
The anniversary of that title game is two weeks from now, but already, Portis is feeling nostalgic seeing the painting of that team.
“Damn this picture hit different,” he wrote.

It feels great looking back at this moment and it seems the best solution about the nostalgia is to win another one.
The Bucks haven’t gone past the first round of the playoffs since 2022. Portis, Giannis and the others have a mission.
