CLEVELAND, Ohio — Former Browns quarterback Brian Sipe, leader of the Kardiac Kids of 1979 and 1980, waxed nostalgic this week about Cleveland Browns Stadium, and weighed in on the Browns’ four-way quarterback competition.
Coming to town for “An Evening with the Quarterbacks” on July 15th to benefit the Youngstown State women’s basketball team, Sipe recalled the first time he caught a glimpse of the old Cleveland Municipal stadium on the lakefront site, which will no longer be the home of the Browns when they move to their new indoor digs in Brook Park in 2029.
