Arsenal’s transfer window has kicked into gear this week as Mikel Arteta looks to revamp his squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
VAVEL takes a look at this week’s most reliable rumours.
Incomings
Noni Madueke
Arsenal seem to be linked with a plethora of attacking talent during this transfer window, with **Noni Madueke**the most concrete option to make the move to North London. The Gunners have a taste for **Chelsea**players, and Madueke would be the second Blues name to join Arsenal during this transfer window after Kepa Arrizabalaga’s arrival.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Arsenal have agreed on personal terms with the former Tottenham Hotspur youth prospect. Madueke would likely command a fee of around £50 million and would strengthen both wings, providing cover for the likes of Bukayo Saka.
The former PSV Eindhoven winger recorded 11 goals and four assists last season for the Blues and is currently playing at the Club World Cup, so any deal would likely not be completed until Chelsea’s campaign in the United States concludes.

Arsenal are reportedly advancing both the Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko deals simultaneously in a bid to pick one out of the two to lead their frontline next season. Gyokeres netted a ridiculous 54 goals in all competitions during the last campaign and is one of the most sought-after players in Europe. However, the Swede has given his priority to the Gunners ahead of a potential transfer.
Gyokeres is seen by many as the ideal option for Arsenal, with the striker possessing lightning pace and lethal finishing as well as being a threat aerially. It is still yet to be seen whether the Gunners will make their move, but if they do, then they can expect to pay a fee of around £60 million.

Dan Marsh (The Mirror) has reported that Arsenal are keen on acquiring Cristhian Mosquera. The Spaniard started all but one of the 38 La Liga games for Valencia in the last campaign, and as he rises through the ranks of La Roja, he could be about to take the next step in his club career.
According to reports, the Gunners saw a bid in the region of £12 million rejected for the 21-year-old. Los Che continue to tempt with him the offer of a new deal, but his heart might now be in London. If a transfer is to happen, it seems like the Gunners must be willing to part with at least £17 million.
Physically blessed and aggressive in the duel, he has some of the skills that have turned Gabriel Magalhaes into one of the most respected defenders in Europe. The Gunners would hope he has a similar ascent, and in the short term, he would ensure that the depth in this department does not drop.

The defender signed a two-year contract extension in 2024. However, twelve months before the deal is due to expire, he has reached a mutual agreement with the club to terminate that agreement.
The 26-year-old mainly played as a right-back for the Gunners but could cover across the defence and had a strong spell as a left-back that led him to earn the club's Player of the Month in October 2023.
Yet, injuries have blighted his career in north London. The Japanese international played a mere three Premier League minutes in the 2024/25 season, and he only pulled on the shirt 84 times for the team.
Indeed, he is set to sit out of action for the rest of the year as he is recovering from knee surgery.
The club wished Tomiyasu all the best for the future, but for both parties, this decision is reasonable.
