Report: Nottingham Forest can now land striker for £12.9m but he earns £214,000-a-week

Nottingham Forest will look to add some players to their ranks this summer, with more wriggle room anticipated if the Reds sell Anthony Elanga.

Elanga is mulling over a move to Newcastle at the moment and Forest might be about to accept a bid that meets the club’s valuation of the winger.

The Reds need to make sure the squad is strengthened, however, and new players are a must, even if Elanga doesn’t go.

Igor Jesus has signed for Forest. He’s checked in from Botafogo and he’s unlikely to be the only player added to strengthen the firepower at Nuno Espirito Santo’s disposal.

Nottingham Forest target available in bargain deal

Forest have been linked with Dusan Vlahovic – the international teammate of Nikola Milenkovic.

Now, according to Rudy Galetti of Team Talk, the striker is now officially for sale at Juventus, with the club set to ask for half of the £27 million asking price.

Vlahovic will now be sold for around £12.9 million, with the Old Lady keen to get his excessive wage of £214,000-a-week off the books.

The striker will be in demand, and both Forest and Aston Villa have made initial enquiries about the striker during this transfer window.

Vlahovic would be game-changing Forest signing

The striker would be a breath of fresh air in the Forest team, and he’d provide some serious competition for Chris Wood and Igor Jesus.

At 25, Vlahovic is at a nice age and quite clearly, he knows where the back of the net is, given his form with Fiorentina and Juventus over the years.

The striker has scored 58 goals in 145 appearances for Juventus, and if a deal can be struck for the striker, it could prove to be a very useful addition to the Forest ranks.
