Emmanuel Agbadou is certainly a very popular figure with the Wolves faithful.
The defender only joined the club back in January, but has already established himself as a huge player at Molineux after turning in a string of top performances.
Wolves were all over the place at the back before his arrival.
But Agbadou came in, and provided real steel and also helped those around him improve.
Agbadou won Player of the Month at Wolves just weeks after signing, and followed that he continued to excel and ultimately played a huge part in the club’s successful survival mission.
Agbadou – who some fans think could be Wolves’ next captain – will be a big player again this coming season, and it’s extremely clear he feels this experience is a privilege.

Wolves got Agbadou for around £16 million.
He was a little known entity outside of France, but it has quickly become apparent that Wolves have snagged themselves a total bargain with the Ivorian.
Agbadou just brings so much authority to Wolves’ defence, and his leadership may well see him take the captain’s armband if Nelson Semedo does not extend his contract at Wolves.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
For his performances so far Wolves fans have quickly come to adore Agbadou.
But now his latest admission will endear fans to him even more.
About playing for Wolves, he told the club’s official website: “To me, it’s just the job of God and if I have done something for the team, then I appreciate that. I’m a player like every player in this league, and I don’t think that I have something different. If you told me that you thought I helped, then that’s good.
“But I should always do my part because for me, it was a dream [to join Wolves] and when you live your dream, you need to enjoy it. I can only talk for myself, but you don’t have too much time for fun.
“You don’t have time to think about if I didn’t play good or if I played good, you just need to enjoy the moment. You need to enjoy every minute, every second, that you have in this league, so for me, it was easy to understand the situation [he was coming into], because it was a dream for me.”
Agbadou is one of Wolves’ most important players
If clubs are to have relative success in the Premier League, then it is vital to ensure the team has a good spine.
And Wolves have a pretty good one at the moment.
Jose Sa can be very good on his day, although some would love if he was a bit more consistent and less rash. In front of him is Agbadou, then midfield maestro Andre, and then the brilliant Jorgen Strand Larsen leading the line.
Agbadou has already become one of Wolves’ most important players in just a matter of months.
He has completely settled that backline down, and he is probably the best out and out defender Wolves have had since Willy Boly.
Hopefully, he can steer clear of injuries, and help Wolves to stay solid at the back. If he can do that, Wolves stand a great chance of pushing up the table.
