A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has made his way onto the transfer wishlist of those in the boardroom at Saudi outfit Al-Nassr.
That’s according to market insider Sacha Tavolieri, who points towards Rodrygo as the player in question.
Frontman Rodrygo has of course been hotly tipped for a move away from Spain’s capital across the summer to date.
Struggling for game-time at the Club World Cup under the watch of new head coach Xabi Alonso, the Brazilian is understood to be [available for transfer for the right price](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6469414/2025/07/03/real-madrid-rodrygo-transfer-latest/?source=emp_shared_article).
And with as much in mind, an audacious approach has this weekend been revealed on the part of one of Saudi football’s leading clubs…
As per a report from the aforementioned Sacha Tavolieri, writing for Sky Sports:
‘In search of a new star to partner Cristiano Ronaldo, Al-Nassr have launched an assault on Rodrygo. With a (nearly) unlimited budget for this transfer period, the Saudis have approached the Brazilian striker’s entourage to gauge the player’s interest in a possible departure to an exotic destination.’
It now remains to be seen if a move to the Middle East this early in his career appeals to Rodrygo himself.
