High Goals For Benjamin Morrison
July 6th, 2025
Benjamin Morrison is not a win-the-day, one-day-at-a-time kind of guy.
Joe’s not saying the Bucs’ rookie cornerback is committed to grinding though daily work and goals, just that Morrison is a big-time dreamer.
Tampa Bay’s second-round pick had a dream board/vision board before being drafted, as explained in a University of Notre Dame video, and he’s isn’t shy about detailing how he believes every level of NFL greatness is within his grasp.
“I want to lead the NFL in interceptions one day. I want to be the man of the year, one year, Pro Bowl multiple times, All-Pro, Super Bowl champ and Hall of Fame jacket,” Morrison said. “So kind of all the dreams [kids] dream of, but I feel me, it’s just like I’ve never felt like something was out of reach. I always felt I could attain anything I put my mind to. So all of those are crazy teams to have; I think I’m going to attain them.”
Man, Joe can only imagine the fire that will burn in talented Morrison when training camp begins and he’s looking up at Jamel Dean in a starting role, and he sees fellow rookie cornerback Jacob Parrish (Round 3) shining as a favorite of coaches.
Lotta competition coming to camp, which kicks off in 17 short days.
