Leeds United confirm another new contract as talented winger extends his Elland Road stay

Hot prospect Harvey Vincent has today signed his maiden professional contract with Leeds United. The winger has committed his future to the Premier League club, penning a two-year deal.

The versatile attacker played a vital role as Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side claimed the inaugural National League Cup last term. Vincent, aged 18, also made 14 appearances in the Premier League 2 and has also received international international in his fledgling career, featuring for England at youth level.

A statement on United's club website read: "Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Harvey on signing a first professional contract and we look forward to seeing his continued development at Thorp Arch."

Vincent is the fourth academy signing over the weekend, following on from goalkeeper Rory Mahady, versatile forward Josh McDonald and left-back Coban Bird. Like Vincent, Bird also penned a two-year deal.

A regular with the U18s last term, Bird also featured for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side in both the Premier League 2 and National League Cup. Bird, aged 18, scored three times in the 2024/25 campaign, including notable strikes from long range against Manchester City's U18s and Blackburn Rovers U18s.
