Manchester United will look to trim their squad ahead of the new season
Manchester United's players will return to their Carrington training base from Monday as they begin their pre-season preparations.
New signings and Diego Leon will be among the players involved in training this week as Ruben Amorim begins his first full season in charge of United.
But as United continue to pursue a move for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, as well as hunt for a new forward and possibly a new midfielder, goalkeeper and wing-back this summer, they also need to move players on.
Five players have this summer and they won't be returning to pre-season to allow time to find a move elsewhere.
But there are other players who could be expendable this summer and, as such, we have taken a look at the transfer status of every player in the squad.
