Travis Kelce Names His All-Time Favorite ‘New Heights’ Guest Without Hesitation

Back in September 2022, Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce launched their "New Heights" podcast as co-hosts while both were still active NFL players.

Now entering his 13th NFL season, Travis continues to grow the podcast’s popularity, while Jason retired after the 2023 season. Since then, "New Heights" has expanded into one of the biggest sports podcasts worldwide.

The brothers even secured a massive deal with Amazon's Wondery, reportedly worth over $100 million for three years.

Over the years, the show has featured extraordinary guests, including Brad Pitt, LeBron James, Caitlin Clark, Ben Stiller, Shaquille O’Neal, Adam Sandler, Donovan Mitchell, and many more.

During a recent appearance on the popular sports podcast "Bussin' With The Boys," Travis was asked about his favorite guest on "New Heights." Without hesitation, he named LeBron James.

Growing up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Travis has been a lifelong Cleveland Cavaliers fan, making LeBron — a legendary figure for Cavaliers fans over the past two decades — his all-time favorite guest.

"You know, I’m a Cleveland kid. I watched LeBron play in [explicit] high school," Kelce said. "Getting him on the show felt like that true Cleveland connection. I knew a lot of people close to him for a long time, so it felt like I really understood who he was. When he came on, it just felt like we were homies forever. I’ve been a Cavs fan since I was like two."

LeBron James is set to return for his 23rd NBA season — a historic milestone that will make him the longest-tenured player in league history. He’ll turn 41 during the upcoming campaign.

Five years younger is Travis Kelce, who’s entering his 13th NFL season. Both he and James are heading into the final years of their respective contracts, with retirement likely looming on the horizon for each of them.

That said, both have cemented themselves as first-ballot Hall of Famers. James is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, while Kelce — a three-time Super Bowl champion — has built a strong case as one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history.
