The Pittsburgh Steelers have a new No. 1 wide receiver.
Fans thought they would have both D.K. Metcalf and George Pickens wreaking havoc on opposing defenses, but they traded the latter shortly after acquiring the former.
Now, Metcalf won’t face much competition for targets, and playing with one of the most talented passers the game has ever seen should do wonders for his production.
That’s why Steelers fans must be hyped to see Metcalf donning his new threads in pictures shared by UNISWAG on X.

Though Metcalf never reached the highest echelon of pass-catchers with the Seattle Seahawks, he’s always been a reliable player who can put up big numbers in any game.
He’s a physical specimen who can’t be taken down with initial contact, and though the Steelers’ offense isn’t necessarily explosive, new quarterback Aaron Rodgers can do special things when paired with a big-play threat.
The Steelers also brought in defensive back Jalen Ramsey this offseason, and while the big-name players they acquired might be past their primes, those are the kind of moves a team makes when it believes it’s closer to Super Bowl contention than to a rebuild.
Whether that’s actually going to be the case this season remains to be seen.
But for now, there’s no reason not to give the Steelers the benefit of the doubt.
