The minds and sympathies of Americans and many around the world are with the people of Texas this weekend. Heavy flooding has led to dozens of casualties as authorities work to assess the extent of the damage.
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman reacted to the ongoing devastation on social media.
"My heart is with the children still missing in the Texas Hill Country-and with those who have been found and heartbreakingly lost," said the Cowboys legend.
"I'm praying for the families still waiting, and for strength for those now grieving. Grateful for everyone doing the hard work to bring the rest of these kids home."

Two days after floods moved through the Texas Hill Country, over 50 people have died including many children. The area is populated with several summer camps, attended by children from all around the state of Texas.
The search persists for 27 girls from Camp Mystic, an all-girls camp near the Guadalupe River. The river surged over its banks on Friday, leading to dangerous flooding around the area.
"It is my hope that miracles still happen," Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said on Sunday, according to NBC.
Patrick said that there have been long searches through previous storms, and that they've been able to rescue people who have traveled 10 or 15 miles downstream. He also noted that over 800 people have been rescued in the
Still, the lieutenant governor acknowledged that the situation is bleak - and that it's getting worse as more time passes.
"There is this line you have to walk of making sure people have hope, those who are missing their children," he said.
"At the same time, you don't want to exaggerate those hopes, so you have to be as candid as you can be."
The search and rescue efforts in central Texas are immense. One volunteer noted that people from six states have come in to help.
"It really does show that this country is more united than divided and it is tremendously appreciated," said volunteer and Texas native Ryan Logue in an interview with CNN's Boris Sanchez.
Hopefully, more good news is on the way as the search goes on.
