Turpin has been one of the best return specialists in the NFL since the Cowboys signed him in 2022 following his USFL stint. He made the Pro Bowl in 2022 and again last season as a kick returner. Turpin had a kick return and punt return touchdown last season.
The 28-year-old Turpin also saw his role in the Cowboys’ offense grow last season. He appeared in all 17 games and finished with 31 catches for 420 yards and 2 touchdowns. Turpin averaged an impressive 13.5 yards per reception.
Turpin could potentially face disciplinary action pending the outcome of his case, which would be a big hit to Dallas’ special teams.
