Manchester United appear to be on the lookout for several new strikers this summer, and Everton may have just given them the help they need.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was sensational when fully fit at Goodison Park, but that consistency was never there, with injuries taking over the England international.
The striker has now left Merseyside upon the expiration of his contract, sharing an emotional farewell after spending the majority of his career with the Toffees.
It could now lead him to Old Trafford.

Manchester United want Calvert-Lewin after Gyokeres agreement
Matheus Cunha has already arrived at Old Trafford this summer for over £60million, but Gyokeres was still wanted in Lancashire.
The Swede has instead agreed to join Arsenal, with Calvert-Lewin coming into the picture now.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
It has been reported by talkSPORT on 6 July that a “shock” move to the Red Devils is now on the cards after his exit from Goodison Park last week.
Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo is another possible signing, with a free move for the ex-Everton star likely to balance the budget alongside exits for the likes of Marcus Rashford.
David Moyes knows better than most that leaving Everton for Manchester United is not all it seems to be, and that should serve as a warning.

Calvert-Lewin first of several Everton exits
With possible destinations ranging from Leeds to Atletico Madrid, it appears that nobody knows the true ceiling of Calvert-Lewin’s fitness and potential.
Manchester United, in terms of expectation, is bigger than both of those moves, but it may be the worst on the table given the horror stories of recent years.
Thankfully for Everton and Moyes, they are already moving on.
A big-money move for Thierno Barry from Villarreal is almost complete, with the Friedkin Group recognising that a new number nine is a priority.
With Beto possibly still following Calvert-Lewin out of the exit door in this window, more than just Barry could be needed with some exciting signings on the horizon.
Wherever he goes, Everton fans will wish the England international well, just not when and if he plays against them twice next season.
