Nottingham Forest will continue to be ambitious in the transfer market this summer as the search for new players continues.
The Reds would surely welcome the chance to add more new players to the squad ahead of a first season playing in the UEFA Conference League.
Igor Jesus has already signed for Forest, and he could be joined in the coming weeks by another Botafogo player, with Jair Cunha attracting interest.
If Newcastle end up signing Anthony Elanga, the kitty will increase, and that should give a greater level of manoeuvrability in the market for the Reds.
It could change the links from also-ran players to genuine quality and news of some developments from elsewhere should see Forest try and sign one Arsenal star.

Nottingham Forest should try to sign Ethan Nwaneri if Anthony Elanga leaves
You might have to bear with us here, but at least hear us out over Nwaneri.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are showing interest in Nwaneri, with talks ongoing over a new deal with the Gunners.
The talented youngster is apparently keen to ensure that he gets regular game time at the Emirates Stadium, and it’s not certain where Mikel Arteta will stand on that.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Forest have been linked with Johan Bakayoko if Elanga does leave for Newcastle and it’s clear that the club will push the boat out for a replacement.
Nwaneri would absolutely get regular game time at Forest and with Evangelos Marinakis not keen to see the Reds stand still, the forward might be perfect.
Edu is currently working across all of the Marinakis clubs and the fact that he will know Nwaneri well could also work in the favour of Forest if this dream signing became a reality.
🚨🔵 Chelsea have been showing interest in Ethan Nwaneri situation, only in case new deal won’t be sealed with Arsenal.

‘Phenomenal’ Nwaneri could star at Forest
Naturally, this deal does feel a bit of a stretch for Forest, but if you don’t buy a ticket, you can’t win the raffle.
Chris Sutton called Nwaneri ‘phenomenal’ last season after a Champions League clash against PSV and he has a seriously bright future.
Nwaneri will see his current contract expire in 2026 and Arsenal are keen to get the situation resolved to avoid being forced into a sale.
The 18-year-old scored nine times and registered two assists from 37 appearances in all competitions last season and the future looks very bright.
He can play anywhere across the front three and given his trickery and burst of pace, he could seriously dazzle the City Ground fan base if he came to the club.
