Former Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller has seen his share of horrible injuries over the years and Jamal Musiala’s broken fibula against Paris Saint-Germain was certainly one of the most gruesome.
The veteran felt for the youngster and bad run of luck he has experienced of late. After all, Musiala had just come back from an a muscular injury before this most recent incident.
“The guy has really had a tough time in the past few months, he worked hard, and today in the first half he showed a lot of intensity and was up for it. We all have a personal relationship with him, we’re not robots. It was a tough moment. I’m crossing the fingers for him,” said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Müller, who is still sorting out his future, will watch Musiala’s recovery from afar and certainly offer words of encouragement to the attacking midfielder when the time is right.
