Ted Nguyen of That Athletic recently identified New England’s defense as a prime breakout candidate, citing their aggressive offseason approach and strategic acquisitions.

Barmore’s 2023 production speaks volumes about his potential with 8.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss.
New England bolstered its edge rush with the additions of Harold Landry and K’Lavon Chaisson, providing much-needed depth.
The linebackers received a veteran presence in Robert Spillane, whose 153-tackle average over his past two seasons fits perfectly with Mike Vrabel’s defensive philosophy.
