Several former Huskers set for appearances in NBA Summer League

Nebraska basketball will be well-represented by a number of former players as the NBA Summer League gets underway Sunday in Las Vegas. 

Here's a quick look at which former Huskers are currently on Summer League rosters and when they'll be playing:

Jack McVeigh, Atlanta Hawks: McVeigh began his professional career in his native Australia, and ended up catching on last season with the Houston Rockets. McVeigh appeared in nine games last season with the Rockets, averaging 1.6 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.1 assists in 4.8 minutes on the floor per contest. He'll be with the Atlanta Hawks in Las Vegas. 

July 11: vs. Miami, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN2, ESPN+)

July 13: vs. Phoenix, 2:30 p.m. (ESPN+, NBA TV)

July 14: vs. Houston, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN+, NBA TV)

July 17: vs. Memphis 5 p.m. (ESPN+, NBA TV)

Juwan Gary, Los Angeles Clippers: Gary went undrafted in June, but was signed by the Clippers with an opportunity to impress. 

July 11: vs. Houston, 9 p.m. (NBA TV)

July 13: vs. Milwaukee, 8:30 p.m. (NBA TV)

July 14: vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 9:30 p.m. (NBA TV)

July 17: vs. Denver, 10 p.m. (ESPN2, NBA TV)

Keisei Tominaga, Indiana Pacers 

Tominaga, who spent last season in the G League with he Indiana Mad Ants, signed a deal to return to Japan to play for Levanga Hokkaido next season, but first will play in the Summer League with the Pacers. 

Last season in the G-League, Tominaga averaged 5.4 points in 14 games, making 46.9 percent of his shots from 3-point range.

Brice Williams, Detroit Pistons 

Williams went undrafted in June, but quickly landed an undrafted free agent deal with Detroit.
