Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have launched an ambitious bid to sign Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard, tabling a €15 million (£13 million) offer for the Belgian international, according to reports from Turkish Post.

The 30-year-old winger, who is under contract at the Emirates until 2026, has emerged as a top target for new Fenerbahçe boss José Mourinho as the club looks to bolster its attacking ranks ahead of the 2025–26 Süper Lig campaign.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 for £27 million and has since become a reliable option under Mikel Arteta, registering 28 goals and 22 assists in 123 appearances across all competitions. Known for his versatility and composure in key moments, he has earned a strong reputation among fans and within the squad.

However, with only a year left on his deal and talks over an extension reportedly stalled, speculation surrounding his future has grown. Fenerbahçe’s proposal not only matches Arsenal’s valuation but also includes a salary package that meets Trossard’s demands, offering him a leading role in Mourinho’s setup.

The Turkish club’s pursuit has reportedly been aided by Trossard’s recent switch to DW Sports Management, an agency with strong connections in the Turkish market.

Arsenal now face a dilemma. While Arteta values Trossard’s contributions, the club are said to be open to significant offers. Arsenal are also in the market for attacking reinforcements, with reported interest in Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, moves that could be funded in part through player sales.

Despite the €15 million offer being seen as a fair valuation for a player approaching 31, Arsenal’s stance remains unclear. Last summer, the club rejected a loan proposal from Saudi outfit Al-Ittihad, underscoring their desire to keep Trossard in North London.

Fenerbahçe could yet face competition for the Belgian’s signature, with Saudi clubs particularly Al-Ittihad reportedly monitoring the situation and considering a renewed approach.
