Kobbie Mainoo could leave Manchester United this summer with Chelsea reportedly keen to sign the midfielder - and two of his team-mates have reacted to his latest post

Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee have chimed in on Kobbie Mainoo's recent Instagram post amidst the swirling rumours about the Manchester United midfielder's future.
Mainoo, 20, might be on his way out of United this summer as Ruben Amorim gears up to overhaul his squad after their worst-ever Premier League season. The Reds ended up a dismal 15th, managing only 11 victories in their 38 top-tier matches.
The England international made his first-team debut in 2023 and quickly became a fixture in Erik ten Hag's starting line-up. His stellar performances earned him a spot in the England squad for Euro 2024.

However, since Ruben Amorim took over the reins at United in November, Mainoo has been grappling with form and fitness issues and only started four of their last 15 top-flight games.
Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Mainoo, who carries a price tag of around £70million, and United might be tempted to sell to free up some cash for squad investments, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Despite the chatter about Mainoo's future, he's been spotted enjoying some downtime at Wimbledon.
In an Instagram post, Mainoo shared a series of snaps from his post-season break, including three shots of him taking in some tennis action on court one.
Other photos show Mainoo hitting the gym hard and kicking back on a football pitch sporting a vintage England shirt. It seems he's been making the most of his summer break before heading back to pre-season training at United.

Among those giving Mainoo's post a thumbs up were Bruno Fernandes and Joshua Zirkzee. Both lads, like Mainoo, have been the talk of the town in this summer's transfer window, albeit for different reasons.
Fernandes was on Al-Hilal's radar for the Club World Cup, but the 30 year old United skipper snubbed a tempting offer from Saudi Arabia to stick with Old Trafford.

On the other hand, Zirkzee's future is up in the air after a rocky start to his stint in Manchester, having joined from Bologna last summer.
In other news, it emerged last week that Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have all told United they're looking to part ways with the club.
