Viktor Gyokeres is closing in on a big-money move to Arsenal after agreeing personal terms on a five-year contract. The Gunners are also looking at Eberechi Eze having announced the arrival of Martin Zubimendi and are ready to make an opening bid to sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea, who are targeting a shock move for Ethan Nwaneri. Newcastle are said to be closing in on a deal for Anthony Elanga, but have a ‘plan B’ option lined up should negotiations fall through.
The Belgian, 22, hit nine goals and one assist in 30 Eredivisie appearances last season. He has 18 senior Belgium caps to his name.
That is according to journalist Nicolo Schira, who reports that positive talks have taken place this week, with direct negotiations expected later in the week.
