Leeds United return to Thorp Arch today as their pre-season preparations begin two months after dramatically winning the Championship title at Plymouth on the final day of last season.
Since promotion to the Premier League, the Whites have been proactive since the summer transfer window started. They have already announced three signings and are increasingly confident of securing a fourth.
Daniel Farke will therefore have almost six weeks to work with those new arrivals before the season starts when Everton visit Elland Road on August 18. The new stars will all presumably debut before then during the club's scheduled pre-season friendlies, beginning with a fixture against Manchester United in Stockholm, Sweden.
Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw will bolster the backline, with Gabriel Gudmundsson also potentially joining the club, coming in on the left of defence. The latter would replace Junior Firpo in that position.
Josuha Guilavogui is also gone from the midfield, but Charlie Crew and Darko Gyabi return from their loans last season. The latter was almost ever-present for Plymouth Argyle in the Championship, only missing both matches against his parent club when ineligible.
Crew also contributed to Doncaster Rovers winning the League Two title despite only just turning 19. Both should have opportunities to impress Farke.
Further forward, Lukas Nmecha comes into the frontline, while Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood also return from Championship loans.

The former was a regular for Hull City in the second half of the campaign and scored five goals to help keep the Tigers in the division. Greenwood contributed the same amount in the league for Preston North End as they also avoided the drop.
Jack Harrison is the fifth and final returning loanee, having spent the last two seasons playing for Everton but has an uncertain future at the Whites. The 28-year-old made 73 appearances across those couple of campaigns, scoring five times and assisting another four.
All eight, and potentially nine if Gudmundsson gets the go-ahead before 19 July, could come into the squad when Leeds play for the first time this summer. For the five returnees, the club will then decide where their future lies.
