Wolves fans are hoping that this will be the week that a flurry of players join the club.
So far this summer, only Fer Lopez has arrived at Molineux.
The club have seen a handful of players leave, but it has been very quiet on the incomings front, with a number of positions still needing to be addressed.
After Lopez, Wolves are expected to sign another number 10.
Then, a new striker and a new midfielder are also on the agenda, with Wolves also looking at new defenders.
A new striker will be important, because Jorgen Strand Larsen needs support after Matheus Cunha left the club.
Recently, it was claimed Wolves held an interest in Romulo Cardoso, who plays for Goztepe.
But one claim was made last night to suggest Vitor Pereira will not have it easy to sign the Brazilian.

Last night it was suggested Mihailo Ivanovic was being approached by Parma, having been linked to Wolves.
And now, there’s been another frustrating update about a Wolves striker target.
According to journalist Felipe Silva of UOL Esporte, Goztepe are digging their heels in over Romulo.
He wrote: “Göztepe ‘plays hardball’ in negotiations for Rômulo, making things difficult for Fulham, Wolverhampton, Leipzig, and Zenit.

“The Turks are in no rush to sell him and are aiming for the biggest transfer in the club’s history. Rômulo has reported back to Göztepe for the upcoming season and is awaiting the outcome of the negotiations.”
Goztepe’s current biggest ever sale was Obinna Nwobodo to FC Cincinnati in 2022. He transferred for just over £2 million.
How much Wolves target Romulo could cost
Clearly, the Turkish outfit don’t want to lose Romulo for a pittance.
He has a contract with them until 2028 and so, they are in a healthy position over their striker.
If they’re going to sell, they are going to want compensating fairly well.

It was recently claimed by David Ornstein that Fulham had seen a bid worth just under £14 million plus add-ons rejected for Romulo.
Ornstein added that Goztepe were seeking over £17 million to sell the Brazilian. Should they actually sell for that figure, then Romulo – who scored 17 goals last season across all competitions – would absolutely obliterate their transfer record.
Whether Wolves would be willing to pay this much remains to be seen, but that figure is in the same ball park as what was paid for Emmanuel Agbadou and Marshall Munetsi, and we’ve all seen how well they did after arriving at Molineux.
