One Wolves star has been reflecting on his first season at Molineux as pre-season is in sight.
Vitor Pereira will get the chance to properly assess his Wolves squad during the summer, after arriving in the West Midlands mid-way through the 2024/25 campaign.
The Portuguese coach got the job done in terms of surviving the drop, as at the time of his appointment, Wolves sat five points from safety.
A lot of Pereira’s success during his first season at Wolves came from his work in the January transfer window, where the Old Gold welcomed three names to the pack.

Marshall Munetsi reveals his fatigue against Manchester City
Emmanuel Agbadou, Nasser Djiga and Marshall Munetsi became Pereira’s first three signings at Wolves.
Agbadou quickly made his quality known, while a loan is on the horizon for Djiga, who has a lot of work to do before being ready to attack the Premier League.
For Munetsi, it was an up-and-down first half-season in England, as while the midfielder added stability, he did miss a fair few chances to score.
From the moment of his arrival, Munetsi became a crucial player to Pereira, making an appearance in every Premier League fixture following his transfer.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
As expected, the Zimbabwean grew tired as the season neared its end, as the 29-year-old revealed when speaking to Wolves’ official website.
“Some games I’m not so tired, but I remember against Manchester City I was tired because I was sick also during that week.”
Munetsi admitted that Wolves’ slim defeat at the Etihad was a particularly tough game for him to be involved in, as he was unwell, tired and played a full 90 minutes.
“I remember just wanting to sleep. After a very difficult game, you just want to sleep, but in some games, because of how you’d have trained and prepared, you just feel in a normal way.”
Though the former Stade Reims star pushed on, his tiredness was obvious as he had the fewest touches of any outfield player who played the full 90 minutes.

Munetsi’s tiredness was obvious
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only indication of Munetsi’s fatigue, as the midfielder infamously missed a remarkable chance to score at the Etihad.
After Jean-Ricner Bellegarde put the ball on a plate for his teammate, Munetsi royally fluffed his lines, missing an open goal after Ederson had committed himself to stop the cross.
It was a tough day at the office for the Zimbabwean, who explained why he struggled so immensely, carrying an illness and fatigue.
The new signing has had time to rest ahead of the new campaign, where he’ll be desperate to find himself on the scoresheet more frequently.
