“Nothing About How He Plays The Game Of Football Shos He’s A One-Hit Wonder”: Jayden Daniels…

Shedeur Sanders may not be the only young QB under the microscope. Jayden Daniels is in hot water too, and former Cowboys star Dez Bryant just stepped into the ring for him.

“Jayden Daniels is here to stay. Nothing about how he plays the game of football shows he’s a one‑hit wonder… He doesn’t rely on his athletic ability, and that’s what makes him dangerous,” Bryant wrote on X.

That support comes after Cam Newton hinted that Daniels could follow the path of another Washington rookie QB who faded fast. Jayden Daniels turned that question on its head with Bryant’s comment echoing across the NFL world.

He’s pointing to Jayden Daniels’ mental process, decision-making, and ability to read defenses. These are skills built for more than a highlight reel.

For Jayden Daniels, the vote of confidence couldn’t come at a better time. With teams still projecting his sophomore stats, Bryant’s backing reminds even skeptics that Jayden Daniels isn’t riding on flashes. He’s crafting a career frame by frame.

If Jayden Daniels can back that praise on the field, he may silence doubts and turn Cam’s question into a punchline. Right now, the season ahead is about proving whose prophecy plays out.

Jayden Daniels Gets Extra Time With Dan Quinn To Stay Ahead Of Defenses In Year Two

Jayden Daniels is wasting no time making sure his second year in the NFL doesn’t catch him off guard. With Dan Quinn now calling the shots in Washington, the Commanders’ young QB is soaking up every bit of knowledge his head coach can offer.

“Dan Quinn told me he’s been spending more meeting time with Jayden Daniels talking defensive tendencies, schemes, the way teams are going to try to take advantage of him in Year two,” Cameron Wolfe reported on NFL Network. “One example he gave me is they ran a hundred more no-huddle offensive plays last year than any other team.”

Jayden Daniels and the Commanders leaned heavily into their uptempo attack during his rookie year. But with success comes adjustments, and defenses are sure to be more prepared this time around.

“They’ve been working a lot this offseason on beyond the no-huddle,” Wolfe added. “Getting into the huddle, how to handle different blitzes and scheme changes so that Jayden Daniels can be ahead of the changes that defenses bring to him next year.”

Jayden Daniels already impressed with his poise and accuracy last season. Now with a defensive-minded coach in his corner, the goal is to stay one step ahead of every wrinkle opposing coordinators throw his way.
