Nottingham Forest are part of a ‘queue’ of suitors for centre-back Thomas Kristensen, according to a report in Italy.
Newspaper Messaggero Veneto claim Forest are one of three Premier League clubs who have been ‘following’ the Udinese defender ‘for some time’.
The Reds are cited along with Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Udinese’s Serie A rivals Bologna are also linked and it is claimed the 23-year-old ‘also has admirers in the Bundesliga’.
The story goes on to say that Udinese rejected an offer of €15million from Wolves in the January transfer window, with the Bianconeri mindful of the fact they would need to find a replacement.

Kristensen spent most of his early career coming through the set-up at Aarhus GF, where he reached the first team and made 46 appearances before moving to Italy in 2023.
He signed a five year contract with Udinese and has played 50 games, including 24 last season as Kosta Runjaic’s team finished 12th. He played mostly at centre-back but also operated at right back on occasion.
He also started three of four games as Denmark Under-21s reached the quarter-finals of the recent U-21 European Championships.
As things stand Forest are well-stocked in central defence with Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic one of the best partnerships in the Premier League. They are backed up by Morata and Willy Boly, who signed a new deal to remain at the City Ground for another season.
