Dominic Calvert-Lewin has now officially left Everton after eight-and-a-half seasons.
The striker departs the Hill Dickinson Stadium as a free agent after struggling for fitness and form in his last four campaigns.
Nevertheless, multiple teams are interested in Calvert-Lewin this summer, including Manchester United.
However, the England international has multiple options, with the possibility of playing in the Champions League emerging.

Newcastle hold new round of talks with Calvert-Lewin
Newcastle have been pursuing Calvert-Lewin for months. The Magpies are in need of a new striker now that Callum Wilson has left St. James’ Park.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
As a result, according to talkSPORT (7 July), the 28-year-old has now held fresh talks about a move to the Champions League outfit.
It is claimed that Eddie Howe is a long-term admirer of the striker as he aims to get him back to his best.
The England international would go to St. James’ Park to provide competition for Alexander Isak.
The report goes on to say that Calvert-Lewin has multiple options this summer, with Manchester United and Leeds United just two clubs that have shown interest.
However, the Yorkshire side were unable to match the striker’s wage demands.

Everton should have cashed in on Calvert-Lewin
While Everton have made many mistakes in recent years, deciding not to sell Calvert-Lewin before his contract ran out is one of the biggest.
Given the current interest in the striker, the Merseyside club could have easily found a buyer and made some money.
Last summer, there were rumours that Brentford and West Ham wanted Calvert-Lewin, which could have resulted in a decent bid.

Calvert-Lewin had an awful output in the 2024/25 campaign
Instead, the Toffees held onto the striker who netted just three times last season in what was clearly the wrong move.
Hopefully Everton will learn from this mistake and will not let history repeat itself in the future.
