Aston Villa are prepared to sell Emiliano Martinez this summer in order to keep hold of some of their other superstars, sources have told Football Insider.
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid have both shown interest in the goalkeeper, as have a number of Saudi Pro League clubs.
The 32-year-old is not the only player linked with a Villa exit, with both Jacob Ramsey and Morgan Rogers rumoured to be attracting attention.
However, sources say that Martinez is the most likely of the three to leave Villa Park this summer, with Unai Emery eager to hold on to Ramsey and Rogers.

Martinez wanted by Man United
If Martinez is to leave Villa, there will be no shortage of suitors wanting to secure the Argentine’s services.
The shot-stopper has been at the Midlands-based club since his move from Arsenal in the summer of 2020, and has developed into one of the world’s best goalkeepers during that time.

Last season, the former Gunners man started all but one game for Emery’s side, as they narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification.
Football Insider exclusively revealed last month that Man United have held a heavy interest in Martinez, but must sell Andre Onana before making a move.
Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the World Cup winner, with current keeper Jan Oblak rumoured to be leaving the club.

‘Aston Villa make final Marco Asensio decision’
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have reportedly pulled the plug on their ambitions of signing Marco Asensio on a permanent deal.
That is according to their former scout Mick Brown, who claims that Emery is prepared to move on without the 29-year-old in his squad.
The Spaniard’s wage demands are believed to be prohibitive for Villa, while a number of European clubs are also preparing to step up their interest.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider that Asensio “will return to PSG” after concerns were raised about his fitness levels and longevity.
