The young goalkeeper followed in the footsteps of his father as he made his debut for the Czech Republic Under-18s in August last year at just 15 years old.
Now 16, Cech, who previously played for Chelsea’s academy, has signed professional terms at Fulham as he seeks to emulate his father's historic legacy.
Announcing his new contract, Cech posted the words "forever grateful" on Instagram alongside a picture of him accompanied by his parents.
Before deciding to focus on a career in football, Cech was a netminder for the ice hockey club Guildford Phoenix's Under-9s team, where his father played following his retirement from football in 2019.
He then joined Fulham in 2024 after a spell in Chelsea's much-revered academy, where he starred alongside Isago da Silva, the son of former Blues defender Thiago Silva.
