Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte has gone public with British influencer Georgia May Heath.

The 24-year-old confirmed months of speculation when he posted a cosy snap of the two on holiday to social media. Ugarte posted a picture of the two smiling and looking into each other’s eyes in swimwear out on a boat.

Ugarte wrote Georgia’s Instagram handle in the caption and added a love heart emoji. The Uruguayan midfielder and the fashion and beauty influencer, who has almost 230,000 Instagram followers, had been spending time together in Spain.

Georgia, 27, is the ex-girlfriend of Ugarte’s former PSG team-mate Kylian Mbappe. The French superstar joined Real Madrid last summer on a free transfer and spent the 2023/24 season with Ugarte in Paris.

Mbappe and Georgia were seen having dinner together in Greece in 2021 and she was reportedly holidaying with the striker as recently as January 2024.

However, rumours began to pick up pace in April that she had split from Mbappe and had started to see Ugarte. Speculation arose when fans noticed the background of Georgia’s photos resembled those in Ugarte’s pictures from home.

But there appears to be no bad blood between Mbappe and either party, as he liked the post along with a number of Ugarte’s United team-mates.

United fans will be hoping that Ugarte’s relationship will help him kick on from a tough first season at Old Trafford, with United enduring their worst-ever Premier League season.

Ugarte was signed from PSG for a fee around £43million and showed promise of becoming a key man in Ruben Amorim’s midfield, but he was bizarrely an unused substitute in the Europa League final defeat to Tottenham in May.

However, the move has largely been scrutinised after Scott McTominay left the club for half of that fee to win Serie A with Napoli and be named the league’s Player of the Season.

Most of United’s players returned to Carrington for pre-season on Monday, including the club’s sole summer signing to date, Matheus Cunha.

Amorim will be desperate to bring in more additions early in United’s pre-season, but the club needs to cash in on sales first, including those of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Jadon Sancho.

United’s inability to find suitable moves for all four players has left their move for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo at a stalemate.
