As Thomas Frank approaches the end of his first month at Tottenham, transfer activity is starting to occur in N17.
Mohammed Kudus is keen to join Spurs after Tottenham made a third bid – worth over £60m – for the Ghana international, and the West Ham No.14 has even turned down interest from Bayern Munich as he waits for the north Londoners..
Should a move materialise, the 24-year-old would follow Mathys Tel to Tottenham, after his loan move from Bayern Munich was made into a permanent switch for a sum of £30m.
Soon, Rodrigo Muniz could also become a Tottenham player, after Fulham identified a replacement in Tolu Arokodare.
Fulham shortlist Rodrigo Muniz replacement after bid from Tottenham
A story from Brazilian news outlet Bolavip recently claimed that Spurs made a bid for the Fulham No.9 – who only has 12 months remaining on his contract at Craven Cottage.
Fulham rejected the bid – said to be worth £32m – but Sacha Tavolieri now claims that the Cottagers hold a genuine desire to sign Arokodare, and view the Nigerian as someone who can competently replace Muniz.
Therefore, despite rejecting Tottenham’s opening offer, it seems like Fulham are prepared to sell the Brazilian striker this summer, should Spurs come back with a second bid.
Spurs should expect competition from Leeds United, and Manchester United could also have a say
Tottenham are not the only side who admire the Fulham striker.
The Athletic claim that Leeds United made a bid for Muniz earlier this summer – also believed to be worth £32m – an offer Fulham rejected.
Furthermore, those at Old Trafford could influence this transfer saga.
TBR Football understand Manchester United are also considering a move for Arokodare after his outstanding 2024/25 campaign with Genk, where he scored 23 goals in 45 games last term.
Should the Red Devils beat Fulham to the Nigeria international, it would surely make the Cottagers less likely to sanction a departure for Muniz.
