The Portland Trail Blazers have been plenty active over the last two weeks. They traded Anfernee Simons for Jrue Holiday, traded down in the 2025 NBA Draft to snag Chinese center Yang Hansen and a future first-round pick, and bought out center Deandre Ayton, allowing him to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. Those transactions are all significant and impactful.
But did they mean anything?
