Chelsea have asked for Max Dowman to be included in Arsenal’s offer for Noni Madueke, according to reports.
Trusted insider source HandofArsenal claims that the idea was “floated” during “preliminary talks” but the proposal was “rejected” by the Gunners.

Robert Dowman, Max’s father, was responding to a fan on X when he reiterated his son’s commitment to staying at the Emirates:
“Arsenal are our club. You know that.”
Why is there so much hype around Dowman?
The 15-year-old has been training with the first-team squad for quite some time and he would likely have made his senior debut by now if it weren’t for Premier League rules.
Dowman was registered with the Under-15s last season, which prohibited him from playing for Mikel Arteta’s side. However, things will be different next campaign.
It is widely expected that the attacking midfielder will make his first appearance either in the Carabao Cup or as a substitute in a league match.
What is the latest on Madueke’s move to Arsenal?
The Gunners have agreed personal terms with the player and he is open to making the switch across London. Everything now hinges on agreeing a fee with Chelsea.
Having already ruled out including Dowman as part of the package, they will likely need to match Madueke’s £50m asking price.
It is believed that sporting director Andrea Berta is hoping to do a deal for a fee closer to £40m, but the £10m gap could potentially be bridged by add-ons. It’s a fast-moving story and an agreement could well be reached within a matter of days.
Based on the remarks from Dowman’s father, though, the teenager won’t be making the switch in the other direction.
