Dominic Calvert-Lewin is getting closer to landing his next club after leaving Everton after eight-and-a-half seasons.
The striker departs Merseyside after a whirlwind few years.
The 28-year-old struggled for fitness over the last few campaigns despite previously being one of the league’s most clinical forwards.
Multiple teams are interested in Calvert-Lewin this summer, with Manchester United reportedly set to make a move for the injury-prone striker.

Moyes’ side had an excellent finish to the 2024/25 season, finishing 23 points above the relegation zone.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Everton have yet to make any moves in the transfer window so far as they look to build on last season, but Everton have released seven players, including Calvert-Lewin.
After being linked to Manchester United, talkSPORT’s Jeff Stelling and Dean Saunders were shocked by the Red Devils’ interest.
Speaking on talkSPORT (7 July), Jeff Stelling said: “I like him as a player when he’s fully fit, but it’s not often enough.
“He will find a club and he will find somewhere where he can prove his fitness, but if I’m a Manchester United fan and I hear that they are signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin as their main striker, I’m thinking what sort of season are we going to have.”
Stelling’s change of heart towards Calvert-Lewin comes after the former Sky Sports presenter previously talked up the striker’s potential move north of the border to Celtic, suggesting he’d bang in goals there.
The former Sheffield United forward has also attracted interest from Newcastle as he continues to be linked with top sides despite his awful record.
Everton should have sold Calvert-Lewin years ago
Everton have known that teams were interested in Calvert-Lewin over the last few seasons and therefore should have sold him.

Calvert-Lewin again struggled through injury in the 2024/25 campaign
The striker should never have been part of the Toffees’ long-term plans, with his injury problems always going to catch up with him.
Keeping hold of the former England international is a mistake that the new ownership would have avoided.
Everton must now swiftly move on from Calvert-Lewin and bring in strong attacking reinforcements of their own.
