Nottingham Forest have had a busy couple of days and as pre-season gets underway, things will only get busier.
Igor Jesus signed for Forest on Saturday to end speculation over his future and commit his future to the Reds for the next four years.
Anthony Elanga remains the subject of a bid from Newcastle, but it wouldn’t appear as though there is a great deal of momentum on that front at the moment.
Forest would like to add four new players to Nuno Espirito Santo’s ranks this summer, with Ola Aina committing his future to the club on Monday.
Emphasis is going to be placed on strengthening the team across the board and now a new name has been linked with a move to the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest want Thomas Kristensen
According to Messaggero Veneto, the Udinese defender has come on the radar of Forest and Bournemouth, with Wolves already having a contract rejected for the player.
Kristensen was the subject of a £13 million offer from Wolves earlier this summer, but the Serie A outfit are keen to recoup more for him.
There is also interest from Bologna and several clubs in the Bundesliga for the player who primarily plays as a central defender.
MORE FOREST STORIES
The Danish player has been with Udinese for two seasons, signing from Aarhus back in 2023 for a relatively small fee less than £5 million.
Last season, Kristensen made a total of 24 appearances in Serie A for Udinese and has played 50 times in total since checking in with the Italian club.
Kristensen might be an alternative option to Jair Cunha
Given that Kristensen is 6ft 5in tall, it appears as though this will be the man targeted by Forest should the apparent deal for Cunha not go through.
Cunha is expected to join Forest from Botafogo and perhaps Forest are being linked with Kristensen as it’s an easy player to associate the club with.
A centre-back doesn’t feel like a pressing concern this summer. Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo, Willy Boly, Morato and Zach Abbott all remain at the football club for next season.
Kristensen has a nice profile, however, and at 23-years-old it would be a signing with one eye on the future should Forest make a move to land him.
