Various Turkish outlets have linked Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard with a possible move to Fenerbahce in recent days, with Burak Ayaydin reporting for TGRT Haber that the club have officially joined the race for the Belgian international.

Fenerbahce are reportedly now in talks with Arsenal for Trossard, with head coach Jose Mourinho approving the transfer, and they want to do a deal quickly.

Sacha Tavolieri reports for Sky Sport Switzerland that Trossard could leave Arsenal this summer, despite being happy with the Gunners and hoping to stay.

Andrea Berta’s arrival and Arsenal’s desire to sign new wingers has reportedly increased the possibility that Trossard might move on, and the Gunners could consider a move for a transfer fee of around €20m (£17.2m).

Tavolieri also mentions Trossard’s switch in agent, with Josy Comhair no longer able to represent the winger.

Ryan Taylor previously reported for the Mirror that it was a mutual decision to part ways due to Comhair’s health issues. But obviously it will have an impact on talks with Arsenal over a contract extension, which Comhair was leading on Trossard’s side.

Taylor confirmed that Trossard wants to stay, but he added that talks have stalled and failed to reach a positive conclusion. As a result, suitable offers for Trossard may be considered this summer.

With Arsenal looking at the likes of Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, the Gunners look likely to make one or two additions in wide areas this summer. If that’s the case, it would appear to push Trossard down the pecking order in north London.
