PSG are through to the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup after a dramatic win over Bayern Munich on Saturday in Atlanta. The first half was tight and tense, with neither side able to find the net, but the match burst into life late in the second half.
Désiré Doué finally broke the deadlock in the 78th minute to put PSG in front. Things quickly spiraled, as the French sidewere reduced to nine men after two red cards. Even so, they stood their ground—and incredibly, managed to add a second goal to seal the victory.
Ousmane Dembélé scored with his first touch, finishingoff a dazzling solo run by Achraf Hakimi, who danced through Bayern’s defense before delivering a perfect cutback.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid edged Borussia Dortmund in a thrilling 3-2 battle. The Spanish sideare also through to the semifinals, but not without a few nervy momentsalong the way.

Ahead of the semifinal clash between the two sides,MARCA’s Raúl Varela believes that Kylian Mbappé will want to start the match against his former club.During this competition, the Frenchman has come off the bench, butfor thismatch he might want to play the full 90.
“I think that Mbappé, whether he’s bad, good or average, has to play all the time,” Varela said. “It’s not just any game, because it’s a different story that the semifinal match was against Bayern, but with the amount of unfinished business that Mbappé has with PSG… Not playing Mbappé means keeping him sulking until Christmas and Xabi Alonso can’t allow that.”
