Bayern Munich are reportedly “not giving up” on Luis Diaz and will rival Barcelona for the Liverpool star’s signature this summer.
Barcelona are said to be ready to make a fresh approach for the Colombia international, who is thought to be keen on a move to Camp Nou.
However, reporter Florian Plettenberg says Bayern are still hopeful a deal can be done, although recent speculation Diaz has agreed personal terms with the Bavarians is played down.

Bayern are seeking attacking reinforcements after waving goodbye to Leroy Sane, while the club were dealt a further blow at the weekend when Jamal Musiala was ruled out after suffering a serious injury at the Club World Cup.
Like Barcelona, the Bundesliga giants had been keen on signing Nico Williams, but he has since decided to extend his contract at Athletic Club.
