Leeds United are now in the process of finalising the permanent transfer of LOSC Lille left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson.

Junior Firpo leaving Leeds meant they had to sign a replacement for the Dominican Republic international.

The hierarchy have narrowed in on Gudmundsson and they appear to be on the cusp of getting their man.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna (7 July), the Whites have finally reached an agreement with Lille.
