Former Liverpool CEO Peter Moore has announced that he is now a shareholder in a club in Poland.

The Englishman held the top job at Liverpool from 2017 to 2020, during a period that saw the club win both the Premier League and Champions League.

Apart from his work at Liverpool, Moore has a high-profile résumé that includes senior roles at EA Sports, Microsoft Xbox and Electronic Arts (EA Sports).

He was named Premier League CEO of the Year in 2019 after helping Liverpool win the Premier League title for the first time.

The former Liverpool man has now announced that he has invested in Polish club Wisła Kraków.

Wisła Kraków were once a dominant force in Polish football, but were relegated from the Ekstraklasa in 2022 and remains in the second division.

With his wealth of experience, Moore will be hoping to help them get back to their levels.

The former Liverpool chief has acquired a 5% stake in Wisła and will advise on sporting strategy and club development.

“I’m proud to announce that I’ve joined @WislaKrakowSA as a minority owner. This is one of Poland’s most historic and beloved football clubs,” the Liverpudlian announced on X.

“What drew me to Wisła wasn’t just its legacy on the pitch — it was the club’s powerful commitment to its community. Having recently visited Kraków, it was clear to me that football isn’t just a game there, it’s a force for social good, unity, and pride. That aligns with everything I believe the game can and should be. To be part of a club that uses its platform to lift up its people was core to our belief at Liverpool FC… that’s what inspires me. That’s why I’m here.”
